About the Pups
Floien, the mother, has a first-class pedigree from Norway. She is about 80 pounds. Her lines date back to some of the top show dogs in England and Norway. She loves to swim, has a fantastic nose for hunting and is a decent retriever. She has excellent conformation, a majestic, square head and a wavy coat. She is the whitest Golden we have ever seen. I would classify her color as stone white. She has not hunted under a gun much, predominantly because I don’t hunt as often as I used to (kids will do that, my golf game also is suffering). We live on an 90 acre farm in northwest Wisconsin and Floien appreciates the outdoors as much as we do.
Loch, the father, is an English import and is also 80 pounds. He lives in the St. Paul, MN area. His Westley lines go back to 1936 and is one of the two most important and successful kennels in England. He is an affectionate dog who is very calm and docile. He is very trainable and loves to hunt. He was hunting pheasants at five months old. He has his WC, WCX, Junior Hunter, Senior Hunter, and 3 legs of his Master Hunter. He is the only British show dog in the US with any MH legs. He also has his International Show Championship. His pedigree is filled with English show champions and his conformation is excellent.
We believe the combination of these two lovely animals will produce fabulous family pets and hunting companions.
Loved from Birth
One of the many unique aspects about our pups is their lives the first two months. We sleep next to the pups for the first three weeks... making sure they are all nursing equally and staying healthy. Our two young kids hold them and play with them multiple times a day. We have friends over nearly every day who also play with the pups. They are incredibly socialized and absolutely love human interaction. There is virtually no way these pups could be loved any more than we love them.
Specifics about purchasing
We want others to share in the joy of owning one of our Goldens. We are going to be very particular about who purchases our "babies." You must have a place for the dog to play outside and need to be committed to loving and cherishing your new family member. You must follow these criteria:
- All animals MUST be spayed or neutered.
- At no time may they be used for breeding.
We look forward to hearing from you. Go to the Contact Us page if you wish to send us an email or give us a call.
